Betting preview: Championship: Cardiff City- Bolton Wanderers
It's an official asset to come with caution as I wasn't at my best last week but Cardiff City (13.0) and Watford (67.0) have given us some big wins in the Championship over the last 7 days so it's hard to complain. But I'll do it anyway.
Another preview of this afternoon's campaign is already up on the ClubGo website .
League: Cardiff City-Bolton Wanderers
Today will be a day of celebration for the home fans in Cardiff, and perhaps the players, with a few games with promotion and even the title guaranteed. The visitors will secure their place in the play-offs with a win, unless Nottingham Forest do the same at Millwall. If Wanderers lose, things will get out of hand if Forest win.
I have supported Bolton since the back line changed at the start of the season. The last time we talked about this was two weeks ago when they visited Bristol City...
Regular/old readers will know that I'm a huge fan of Bolton boss Dougie Freedman and his team behind the scenes, especially his number two, veteran Lenny Lawrence. Friedman will be at the top of his game as a manager, as I suggested to you in December when they were 17th in the league, he has started to pull this club up by the bootstraps and can take this team into the play-offs today and take the three points. . . Will probably get the trotters into a postseason spot. The work Freedman has done at Crystal Palace, both on and off the pitch, is incredible and he has instilled a lot of pride and discipline in Wanderers. One of Bolton's greatest achievements, he added, "I am the driver of this ship. I will steer it through commitment, effort, desire and integrity. Lenny Lawrence will steer it." Great comment!
The visitors have won seven of nine, including against Brighton and Hull, and have kept five clean sheets in that period. City are bottom of the league, eight points from safety, and have a worse goal difference than most, effectively nine points adrift with five rounds remaining. They will go down, but they have to try to prepare everyone for maximum points and play against a top team and take risks knowing deep down that in the end it still won't be enough, which is a difficult situation. Friedman won't underestimate City, but he wants nothing more than to win and a 4-1 defeat here at his side Palace earlier in the season will be further motivation. Only three wins away for Wanderers but I don't really care about team stats and news at this stage of the season, although the visitors have no new problems and a quality squad. away win
They won 2-1 and have since lost the odd goal to Leicester City in five games and won at home to Middlesbrough. They will be without David Ngog and Jay Spearing today, but any loss will have to be worth the will and determination to do something today and Friedman and Lawrence will lead their side to the challenge. City will be without Leon Barnett at centre-back, who was recalled by parent club Norwich City, and is expected to be replaced by 19-year-old Ben Nugent, who has made just six first-team starts so far (8). in all formations). conceded only one goal). Only a point separated the two in the second half of the season and Wanderers had the option without the safety net of a tie bet. Ball Level 1.25 Points Bolton Wanderers Asian Line / Ibrahimovic.
Good luck!
