NCAA Football Weekend Preview: Three Games To Keep An Eye On

The eleventh weekend of the college football season brings opportunity and pressure to three teams, including Louisville, Stanford and Fresno State.

NCAA College Football 2012 - Week 11 Preview

When you venture into the world of online sports betting, you'll have a hard time betting against the quarterback at the Big East Conference this weekend. At noon EST, undefeated Louisville beats Syracuse.
The Cardinals will be looking to beat the Orange and, in the meantime, stay on track for the Orange Bowl in January. Many American players will thank the Cardinals for their offensive leadership. UL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater could be a contender for the Heisman Prize next season when Louisville has a chance to gain more national attention in an improved Big East Conference. Bridgewater has already made a big statement this season, showing exceptional poise and presence while supporting secondary matches. Bridgewater reacted very well to pressure, not just in the defensive heat, but in game situations where his team needed to sign up for a specific training. As long as Bridgewater continues to do what he's been doing all season, the Cardinals will be fine.

The latest reviews on the Gambling Advisor blog are reason to appreciate the Cardinals at this game, and they have good reason to support Cardinal-Stanford on Saturday as well. At 3:00 p.m. kick-off in the East, Stanford should be able to beat and overtake Oregon on either side of the ball. Stanford hasn't scored the same goals as Oregon State this season, but the Cardinals have more talent in most positions. They must be able to take advantage of the line of melee and win battles at the point of attack. Also, Oregon State's winning quarterback Cody, despite leading his team to victory over Arizona State last week, didn't protect the ball well. Transformers have been plagued in general, as has been the case with the Oregon crime in recent weeks. If Stanford plays good ball safely, they don't need to put up big offensive numbers. He can focus on shutting down Oregon, making plays for the field situation and exhausting beavers in the fourth quarter.

The college football season, with only 12 games, is similar to online poker. Uncertainty is part of the mix and that will be true for the remainder of the Mountain West Conference season. The Fresno State Bulldogs and Nevada Wolf Pack took on new life this past weekend. The Boise State Broncos, leaders of the Mountain West Conference, lost to San Diego State and tied for first. Nevada, which has lost twice in the conference, is already vying for the conference championship. Fresno State, which lost to Boise State earlier this year, has another chance to get a piece of Mountain West gear. So when Fresno State and Nevada play on Saturday at 10:35 p.m. ET, the stakes are high. The thing is that Fresno State's offensive line can control this game. Nevada's defense is too meticulous to match the Bulldogs' strength.
