Monday .... Seventh time lucky !

Well, Saturday was finally picture 3 (see below and right, where the beast missed a 94-minute penalty that would have seen championship football at Griffin Park next season).

I do not like to comment on the events surrounding the punishment and who should or should not have received it, and I also think that the boss Uwe Rösler should not have said anything. These things are always best done behind closed doors.

Marcello Trotta has received incredible feedback (that's kind), he is between 19 and 20, the same age as one of my daughters, and if she had suffered the same level of abuse, she wouldn't have. be able to control me.

At the end of the day, nobody died. Brentford have another chance to make the play-offs. I think they will be in the league sometime in the next couple of years, hopefully next month and the club will be gone. Off the field he has made great strides in the last 2-3 years. They no longer follow League 1 lines and will not remain a tier 3 club for long.

Like most football fans I'm also a drug addict, Brentford are my drug of choice and while I desperately hope they're ok if I'm honest the buzz I get from following/watching them won't add up in the league. and it's also dwindled down to just Ligue 2. But, to knock on wood, I think the days of fourth-tier football are behind us.

Since I started supporting Brentford they have spent 70% of their time in the 3rd division and only one season in the 2nd, they finished 2nd in 'League 1' and didn't get promoted (94 -95 is the only team that was promoted! ). fell five times, lost six times in the playoffs (a "perfect" record), and won practically everything.

However, apart from big family events, almost all of the most memorable events in my life (good and bad) have involved the club, and Saturday's events are just another event. Let's hope Wembley will be different on May 19th, but for completely different reasons and we can make fun of 'the lady'... My God, this was played like a penalty shootout final!

Strength.

By the way, this photo of Rosler and Peter Gilham (Mr Brentford) is one of my favorites and never ceases to lift my spirits, it's best if you know Gilham or leave it to Griffin's as the enthusiastic game day announcer . see parking.
